Chuck Metals is a trusted manufacturer and supplier of high-temperature alloy solutions based in Singapore, Pulau Ujong. They specialize in providing top-notch Haynes 230 Bars and Rods, designed to handle the toughest service environments. Known for their commitment to quality, precision, and reliability, Chuck Metals caters to various industries, including aerospace, power generation, metallurgy, and chemical processing. Haynes 230 is a nickel-based alloy that’s solid-solution-strengthened, offering remarkable stability, oxidation resistance, and mechanical strength even at high temperatures. With quick delivery, competitive pricing, and deep technical know-how, Chuck Metals is there to support complex industrial applications where durability and long-lasting performance are a must.
The composition of Haynes 230 Bars and Rods is primarily nickel (~57%), along with chromium (~22%), tungsten (~14%), molybdenum (~2%), and some trace elements. This special blend gives it outstanding oxidation resistance up to 1150°C and excellent thermal stability. The alloy boasts a tensile strength of around 825 MPa and a yield strength close to 450 MPa. It effectively resists creep, carburization, and grain growth in high-heat settings. Haynes 230 maintains its strength even after prolonged exposure to extreme temperatures, making it perfect for structural components that face severe thermal cycling and mechanical loading in both industrial and aerospace applications.

Haynes 230 Bars and Rods are commonly used in high-temperature scenarios where strength, oxidation resistance, and structural integrity are crucial. In the aerospace industry, you’ll find them in combustor liners, transition ducts, and engine components that are constantly exposed to heat. In power generation, they play a vital role in gas turbines, heat recovery systems, and burner hardware. This alloy is also well-suited for industrial furnaces, thermal processing equipment, and chemical reactors, especially in situations where high-temperature corrosion and deformation resistance are key. With excellent fabrication and welding properties, Haynes 230 is a preferred choice for many demanding applications.
