Inconel 602 Bars and Rods are made up of about 63% nickel, 22–26% chromium, and 8–10% iron, along with small amounts of aluminum, titanium, and other trace elements that boost their high-temperature oxidation resistance. This alloy delivers a tensile strength of around 620 MPa and a yield strength close to 300 MPa, along with remarkable creep and fatigue resistance. Inconel 602 is specifically designed to withstand scaling and carburization in environments that exceed 1100°C. Its stable microstructure and excellent mechanical integrity during thermal cycling make it perfect for high-stress, high-heat applications where material failure simply isn’t an option.
