Thanks to their focus on customer satisfaction, competitive pricing, and timely delivery, Chuck Metals has earned a reputation as a go-to supplier for engineering teams and industrial clients looking for durable and reliable alloy solutions for critical applications.
Inconel 625 Bars and Rods are made from nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloys that also include niobium, typically featuring a composition of around 58% nickel, 20–23% chromium, 8–10% molybdenum, and 3.15–4.15% niobium. This unique combination gives the alloy outstanding resistance to a variety of corrosive environments, such as seawater, acids, and high-temperature oxidation. On the mechanical side, the alloy boasts a high tensile strength of about 827 MPa and a yield strength close to 414 MPa. It maintains its toughness and structural integrity across a wide temperature range, from cryogenic conditions to elevated temperatures. The addition of niobium enhances the matrix’s strength without requiring heat treatment, improving fatigue and creep resistance in demanding operating conditions.
