Inconel 792 Bars and Rods are nickel-based superalloys, made up of about 58–62% nickel, 12–14% chromium, 3–5% aluminum, and 8–10% cobalt, along with small amounts of titanium, molybdenum, and zirconium. These bars are precipitation-hardened to boost their strength and are renowned for their exceptional stability at high temperatures. The alloy boasts a tensile strength of around 930 MPa and a yield strength close to 750 MPa. It also shows remarkable resistance to oxidation and thermal fatigue at temperatures over 1000°C. The well-balanced composition of Inconel 792 makes it perfect for structural components that face prolonged stress and heat, especially in challenging engine and turbine settings.
