Chuck Metals is a reliable manufacturer and supplier of Super Duplex Steel Forgings based in Singapore, catering to the demanding needs of industries across Pulau Ujong and Southeast Asia. Our Super Duplex steel forgings are crafted with precision and a strong commitment to international standards like ASTM A182 and ASTM A473. Renowned for their exceptional mechanical strength, impressive corrosion resistance, and dependability in high-pressure and corrosive settings, these forgings are perfect for critical components in offshore, marine, chemical, and oil & gas applications. At Chuck Metals, we prioritize high-quality materials, precise shaping, and consistent performance in every forged product we deliver.
Super Duplex Steel Forgings are generally made from high-alloy grades such as UNS S32750, S32760, and Zeron 100, which contain around 25% chromium, about 7% nickel, and 3–4% molybdenum, along with nitrogen and sometimes copper or tungsten. These elements contribute to remarkable tensile strength (ranging from 750 to 930 MPa), yield strength of at least 550 MPa, and impressive toughness even at cryogenic temperatures. The forgings also feature enhanced grain structure and superior fatigue strength. Super Duplex forgings are particularly resistant to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking, especially in environments rich in chlorides and acids, making them incredibly durable under mechanical and chemical stress.

To verify the quality of Super Duplex Steel forgings, check for certifications like ASTM, ASME, or ISO standards. Conduct tests such as mechanical property testing, chemical composition analysis, and non-destructive testing (NDT) like ultrasonic or magnetic particle inspections.
Compatible welding processes for Super Duplex Steel forgings include Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG), Metal Inert Gas (MIG), Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), and Submerged Arc Welding (SAW), using appropriate filler materials.
Super Duplex Steel forgings are governed by standards such as ASTM A182, ASTM A240, ASME SA-182, ASME SA-240, and EN 10088-3, which define material properties, chemical composition, and mechanical requirements.
Super Duplex Steel Forgings find their place in critical, high-stress applications across a variety of industries. In the oil and gas sector, they are utilized for forged flanges, valves, subsea connectors, and high-pressure fittings. In marine and offshore settings, they are essential for mooring components, shafts, and structural supports that are exposed to seawater. The chemical and petrochemical industries rely on these forgings for reactors, heat exchangers, and pipe fittings. Moreover, desalination plants, power generation systems, and pulp and paper mills benefit from their long service life, low maintenance needs, and resilience to harsh operating conditions, making them vital for safety.

We provide products that come with both mill test certificates and third-party test certificates, ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance.
