Zeron 100 features a well-balanced austenite-ferrite microstructure. Its makeup includes around 25% chromium, about 7% nickel, roughly 3.6% molybdenum, 0.7% tungsten, and 0.2% nitrogen, which together provide excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and chloride stress corrosion cracking. With impressive mechanical strength, it boasts a tensile strength of approximately 750–850 MPa and a yield strength of at least 550 MPa, along with good ductility and toughness even in low temperatures.
