Chuck Metals is a trusted name in Singapore when it comes to manufacturing and supplying Stainless Steel 321 Square Bars and Rods. We take pride in delivering top-notch products to clients throughout Pulau Ujong and the wider Southeast Asian market. Stainless Steel 321 is a titanium-stabilized austenitic stainless steel, celebrated for its remarkable resistance to intergranular corrosion and its solid performance in high-temperature settings. Our 321 square bars are crafted in line with ASTM A276 and A479 standards, ensuring they boast superior strength, a great surface finish, and robust structural integrity. We offer these bars in a variety of sizes, perfect for applications that require thermal stability and excellent weldability.
These Stainless Steel 321 Square Bars and Rods contain about 17–19% chromium, 9–12% nickel, and titanium (≥5x C%) to help prevent carbide precipitation. The alloy provides impressive tensile strength ranging from 515 to 750 MPa, a yield strength of around 205 MPa, and good creep resistance at temperatures soaring up to 870°C. In its annealed state, it’s non-magnetic, showcases excellent weldability, and stands up well against oxidation and scaling in high-temperature conditions. Thanks to its titanium content, 321 outperforms 304 in continuous service above 427°C, stabilizing the structure during welding or thermal cycling.

Stainless Steel 321 Square Bars are available in a range of sizes, typically from ¼" to 12" in width. Common finishes include mill finish, polished, and cold drawn.
Yes, Stainless Steel 321 Square Rods can be welded using most standard welding techniques. However, post-weld heat treatment may be required to maintain its properties and prevent sensitization.
Stainless Steel 321 Square Bars are generally non-magnetic in their annealed condition. However, they may exhibit slight magnetic properties if cold-worked.
Stainless Steel 321 Square Bars and Rods find their way into various industries, including aerospace, chemical processing, thermal plants, and pharmaceutical equipment, all thanks to their high-temperature resistance and corrosion stability. You’ll commonly see them in exhaust systems, manifolds, furnace parts, boiler tubes, and welded pressure vessels. They’re also utilized in heat exchangers, refinery equipment, and high-temperature piping systems. The blend of mechanical strength, thermal stability, and resistance to intergranular attack makes 321 the go-to choice for environments that experience repeated thermal cycles and elevated operating temperatures.

We provide products that come with both mill test certificates and third-party test certificates, ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance.
