They boast a tensile strength of 700 MPa, a yield strength between 275–450 MPa, and can achieve excellent hardness of up to 40 HRC when fully hardened. The 410 grade is magnetic, easy to machine, and performs well in mildly corrosive environments like fresh water and air, though it’s not the best choice for marine or highly acidic conditions.
