Titanium Grade 11 (Ti Gr 11) forgings consists of 90% titanium, 6% aluminum, and 4% vanadium with an iron and oxygen content in minor proportions. In this alloy, the strength to weight ratio with high temperature high corrosion resistance occurs. The material has tensile strength between 550 and 880 MPa, and 460 MPa with yield strength respectively. The elongation is around 10-15% with an excellent ductility. The alloy has good oxidation resistance at elevated temperatures and is therefore widely used in aerospace, chemical, and marine industries.
