Chuck Metals stands out as a top manufacturer and supplier of high-quality Titanium Grade 5 Forgings in Singapore, specifically in Pulau Ujong. Renowned for its precision in manufacturing and unwavering commitment to excellence, Chuck Metals delivers robust, corrosion-resistant forged components for various industries, including aerospace, marine, medical, and chemical processing. Titanium Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V) is the go-to titanium alloy, celebrated for its remarkable strength-to-weight ratio and superb corrosion resistance. By employing cutting-edge forging techniques and strict quality control measures, Chuck Metals ensures that its products meet international standards, promising long-lasting performance and reliability even in the toughest conditions.
Titanium Grade 5 Forgings (Ti-6Al-4V) are made up of about 6% Aluminum, 4% Vanadium, 0.25% Iron, and 0.2% Oxygen, with the remainder being Titanium. This alpha-beta alloy boasts impressive tensile strength (usually between 900–1100 MPa), yield strength (around 880 MPa), and hardness reaching up to 36 HRC. It shows excellent fatigue resistance and keeps its mechanical integrity at temperatures as high as 400°C. Lightweight yet incredibly strong, Titanium Grade 5 also offers outstanding corrosion resistance against seawater, oxidizing acids, and chloride environments—making it perfect for high-performance, critical structural and pressure-bearing applications.
