Titanium Grade 11, also known as UNS R50250, consists of roughly 99.5% titanium and 0.12–0.25% palladium, along with trace elements of iron and oxygen. Its mechanical properties feature a tensile strength of around 240–370 MPa, yield strength of about 170–275 MPa, and an elongation of up to 24%, with a hardness rating of 70–90 HB. The inclusion of palladium greatly enhances its corrosion resistance, particularly in mildly reducing and acidic environments, including those with chlorides and sulfuric acid. It also boasts excellent weldability, formability, and impact resistance, making it a great choice for both fabrication and corrosive-service applications.
