Chuck Metals is a reliable manufacturer and supplier of Titanium Grade 12 Bars and Rods based in Singapore, proudly serving a variety of industries across Pulau Ujong and the broader Southeast Asian market. Titanium Grade 12 (Ti-0.3Mo-0.8Ni) is a corrosion-resistant alloy that stands out for its excellent weldability, moderate strength, and remarkable resistance to crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking, particularly in hot, mildly reducing, and chloride-rich environments. At Chuck Metals, we provide precision-engineered Grade 12 bars and rods that meet international standards like ASTM B348, making them ideal for critical applications in chemical processing, marine, power generation, and industrial systems.
This titanium alloy consists of about 0.3% molybdenum, 0.8% nickel, and the rest titanium. These alloying elements enhance corrosion resistance, especially in both reducing and oxidizing environments, such as hot brines and sulfuric acid. It boasts a tensile strength of approximately 483–550 MPa, a yield strength around 345 MPa, an elongation of about 18–25%, and a hardness close to 160 HB. Grade 12 is known for its excellent weldability, moderate formability, and high corrosion resistance. Its performance is often likened to that of stainless steels and more expensive alloys, making it a cost-effective choice for demanding service environments.
