Chuck Metals stands out as a top manufacturer and supplier of Stainless Steel 17-4 PH Bars and Rods in Singapore, specifically in Pulau Ujong. They’re well-known for providing high-quality precipitation-hardening stainless steel products. These bars and rods are designed for applications that demand high strength, moderate corrosion resistance, and outstanding mechanical properties. Chuck Metals takes pride in ensuring that every batch adheres to strict industry standards, delivering products that perform reliably even in tough environments. With a strong focus on quality, timely delivery, and customer satisfaction, the company has earned a solid reputation among clients in the aerospace, chemical, marine, and general engineering sectors who are looking for durable and high-performance material solutions.
The Stainless Steel 17-4 PH Bars and Rods are made up of about 15–17.5% chromium, 3–5% nickel, 3–5% copper, and 0.15–0.45% niobium, with the rest being iron. This alloy goes through a process called precipitation hardening, which gives it an impressive tensile strength of around 1100 MPa and a yield strength of 1000 MPa after heat treatment (H900 condition). It also shows good corrosion resistance, toughness, and machinability, maintaining excellent mechanical properties even at temperatures up to 316°C. The well-balanced composition and response to heat treatment make it perfect for critical components in aerospace and high-stress situations.
