Chuck Metals, located in Singapore on Pulau Ujong, is a reliable manufacturer and supplier of high-performance Stainless Steel XM19 Forgings, designed for tough applications in marine, chemical, and industrial fields. Also referred to as Nitronic 50 or UNS S20910, XM19 boasts an impressive mix of strength, corrosion resistance, and toughness—outperforming many standard stainless steels like 316 and 317. Chuck Metals offers a diverse selection of precision-forged products, including shafts, rings, blocks, and custom components, all in line with ASTM A182 and related standards. These forgings are perfect for high-stress, corrosion-heavy environments, ensuring long-lasting reliability and mechanical integrity.
Stainless Steel XM19 (Nitronic 50) is made up of about 20–23.5% Chromium, 11–13.5% Nickel, and 4.0–6.0% Manganese, along with Nitrogen (0.2–0.4%) and trace amounts of Molybdenum. This unique blend gives it outstanding resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion, particularly in marine and chemical environments. XM19 has a yield strength ranging from 380–690 MPa (from annealed to cold-worked states), a tensile strength that can reach up to 1000 MPa, and an elongation of about 35–40%. Unlike many other stainless steels, it remains non-magnetic even after cold working and provides excellent impact toughness and wear resistance, making it perfect for precision-forged components under high-stress conditions.
