Chuck Metals stands out as a top manufacturer and supplier of Stainless Steel 316L Forgings in Singapore, Pulau Ujong, catering to global industries that require exceptional corrosion resistance and robust forged components. Crafted with precision and adhering to international ASTM/ASME standards, our 316L forgings are perfect for challenging chemical, marine, and pharmaceutical settings. The low carbon content in 316L enhances weldability while reducing the risk of carbide precipitation, making it an excellent choice for welded structures. At Chuck Metals, we blend cutting-edge forging technology with rigorous quality control to provide consistent and dependable 316L forgings for critical industrial uses.
Stainless Steel 316L is a low-carbon version of 316, featuring around 16–18% chromium, 10–14% nickel, and 2–3% molybdenum, which boosts its resistance to corrosion, particularly in chloride and acidic environments. The lower carbon content (≤0.03%) helps prevent sensitization during welding. It boasts a tensile strength of about 485 MPa, a yield strength of 170 MPa, and an elongation of 40%. This alloy retains excellent ductility, toughness, and pitting resistance across a broad temperature range, making it ideal for forged components in demanding industrial and marine conditions.
