Chuck Metals is a well-established manufacturer and supplier of Stainless Steel 410 Bars and Rods in Singapore, serving various industrial sectors across Pulau Ujong and Southeast Asia. Stainless Steel 410 is a martensitic stainless steel known for its excellent hardness, strength, and wear resistance. It is ideal for applications requiring moderate corrosion resistance and high mechanical performance. Manufactured to standards like ASTM A276 and A479, our 410 bars and rods offer precise dimensions, superior surface finish, and consistent quality. Chuck Metals provides these bars in various sizes and heat-treated conditions to suit demanding engineering and fabrication needs.
Stainless Steel 410 Bars and Rods are primarily composed of 11.5–13.5% chromium and low carbon content (~0.15%), offering a good balance of strength and corrosion resistance. When heat-treated, they deliver tensile strength up to 700 MPa, yield strength around 275–450 MPa, and hardness up to 40 HRC. The alloy is magnetic, hardenable by heat treatment, and exhibits fair corrosion resistance in mildly corrosive environments. While it performs well in dry atmospheres and freshwater, it is less suitable for marine or highly acidic conditions.
