Stainless Steel 904L (SS 904L) Hex Bars are composed primarily of iron, chromium (19-23%), nickel (23-28%), and molybdenum (4-5%), with small amounts of copper (1-2%) and manganese, silicon, and nitrogen. This composition provides excellent corrosion resistance, particularly in acidic environments. The mechanical properties of SS 904L Hex Bars include a tensile strength of approximately 520 MPa, yield strength of 240 MPa, and elongation of around 35%. It offers good weldability, formability, and machinability, making it suitable for various industrial applications where strength and corrosion resistance are essential.
