Chuck Metals is a well-respected manufacturer and supplier of Aluminium 1070 Forgings based in Singapore, catering to industries across Pulau Ujong and the wider Southeast Asian region. Aluminium 1070 is a high-purity aluminum alloy, boasting a minimum of 99.7% aluminum. It’s celebrated for its remarkable electrical and thermal conductivity, impressive corrosion resistance, and excellent workability. Our forgings are crafted to comply with ASTM B247 and other international standards, guaranteeing high precision, consistent quality, and smooth surface finishes. At Chuck Metals, we offer Aluminium 1070 forgings in various shapes and sizes, perfect for electrical, chemical, and decorative uses.
Aluminium 1070 Forgings typically consist of 99.7% aluminum, with small amounts of iron and silicon added. This alloy delivers a tensile strength ranging from 70 to 120 MPa, a yield strength of about 35 MPa, and outstanding ductility and elongation, making it perfect for cold forming. While it can’t be heat-treated, it can be strengthened through cold working. Aluminium 1070 is non-magnetic, highly reflective, and performs reliably in corrosive and marine environments thanks to its chemical purity and protective oxide layer.

The forging process for Aluminium 1070 typically takes several hours, depending on the complexity of the part and size. Heating, shaping, cooling, and finishing stages each contribute to the total time.
Aluminum 1070 is not ideal for high-temperature forging applications due to its relatively low melting point and limited strength at elevated temperatures. Alloys like 7075 or 2618 are better suited.
Aluminum 1070 offers excellent corrosion resistance, high electrical conductivity, good formability, and high purity, making it ideal for custom forgings in applications requiring strength and durability with minimal impurities.
You’ll often find Aluminium 1070 Forgings in electrical conductors, busbars, transformer windings, and power distribution systems due to their excellent electrical conductivity. They’re also used in heat exchangers, radiators, chemical storage tanks, and reflective surfaces for lighting and solar panels. Additionally, 1070 finds its way into signage, architectural trim, and equipment in the food industry, where formability, corrosion resistance, and surface quality are essential. Its lightweight and non-toxic nature makes it a fantastic choice for both industrial applications and consumer products.

We provide products that come with both mill test certificates and third-party test certificates, ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance.
