Chuck Metals is your go-to manufacturer and supplier of Aluminium 1100 Forgings right here in Singapore, serving a wide range of industries across Pulau Ujong and the Southeast Asian region. Aluminium 1100 is a commercially pure aluminum alloy, boasting a minimum of 99.0% aluminum. It’s celebrated for its fantastic corrosion resistance, impressive thermal and electrical conductivity, and exceptional workability. We produce our forgings in line with ASTM B247 and other international standards, guaranteeing top-notch finishes, precise dimensions, and reliable performance. At Chuck Metals, we offer Aluminium 1100 forgings in various sizes and configurations, perfect for light-duty, non-structural, and decorative applications.
Typically, Aluminium 1100 Forgings consist of 99.0% aluminum, with trace amounts of copper (around 0.05–0.2%), iron, and silicon. This alloy provides a tensile strength of 90–130 MPa, a yield strength of about 35 MPa, and excellent elongation, making it a great choice for cold forming and spinning. While it can’t be heat-treated, it can be strengthened through cold working. Aluminium 1100 is non-magnetic, non-heat hardenable, and highly resistant to chemical and atmospheric corrosion, especially in marine and industrial settings.

Aluminum 1100 forging allows custom shapes like rings, discs, bars, flanges, stepped shafts, and intricate profiles, ideal for aerospace, automotive, and industrial applications requiring high corrosion resistance and ductility.
Aluminum 1100 is unsuitable for high-temperature forging applications due to its low melting point and poor strength at elevated temperatures, making it better suited for cold working or low-temperature uses.
Aluminum 1100 offers excellent corrosion resistance, high ductility, good thermal conductivity, lightweight properties, and exceptional workability, making it ideal for custom forgings requiring precise shapes and resistance to harsh environments.
You’ll find Aluminium 1100 Forgings in a variety of applications, from chemical storage tanks and reflectors to kitchenware, heat exchanger components, and architectural trim, all thanks to their formability and corrosion resistance. They’re also perfect for electrical conductors, lightweight structural components, nameplates, and decorative elements. In sectors like HVAC, food processing, and transportation, Aluminium 1100 forgings deliver a dependable mix of lightweight performance and resilience against environmental factors. Their smooth finish, ease of fabrication, and high purity make them ideal for both practical and aesthetic applications.
